SMARTEYE® MARK II
"Enhanced Dynamic Range"

SMARTEYE® MARK II sets the standard in photoelectric sensing. With its unique EDR circuit, it is capable of performing sensing tasks most other sensors can't accomplish. It provides extended operating ranges, enhanced background suppression and the elimination of saturation problems.

The SMARTEYE® MARK II gives that extra measure of perfomance required to ensure proper operation.

SUPPLY VOLTAGE:
12 to 24 VDC.
Polarity Protected.

CURRENT REQUIREMENTS:
85 milliamps (exclusive of load).

OUTPUT TRANSISTORS:
(1) NPN and (1) PNP sensor output transistor.
Sensor's outputs can sink or source up to 150 milliamps (current limit).
Momentary short circuit protected from pulsing at power up.

RESPONSE TIME:
Light state response = 50 microseconds.
Dark state response = 140 microseconds.

LED LIGHT SOURCE:
Options: Infrared, Red, Green, Blue or White.
Pulse Modulated.

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE:
-40ºC to 70ºC (-40ºF to 158ºF).

RUGGED CONSTRUCTION:
Chemical resistant housing.
Waterproof, 4X, 6P, and IP67
Epoxy Encapsulated.

MAXIMUM SENSING RANGE:
Retroreflective: up to 35 ft.
Proximity: up to 3 ft.
Fiberoptic Proximity: up to 5.5 in.
w/o lens / 1.5 ft w/lens.
Fiberoptic Opposed Mode: up to 3.5 in.
w/o lens / 20 ft plus w/lens.
